Description

Use this traditional tailor’s tool to press perfect creases, flatten bulky facing and create perfectly pointed collar edges. The flat bottom piece (the clapper) is used for creating crisp, flat pressed seams and creases and makes pleating a breeze. Apply the clapper immediately after steam ironing and press down firmly for 10-15 seconds. The clapper will then absorb the steam and set your crease or seam. Use the pointed handle (the point presser) for pressing awkward seams such as collars, points and narrow, hard to get to corners. Place the corner to be pressed open and flat with the point inside and use a steam iron to open the seam. Turn the corner around and repeat the process to create a perfect point. This versatile item allows can be used with both steam and dry irons.
