Description
Many close-fitting and strapless garments call for a lined, boned foundation closed by a row of hooks and eyes. This foundation allows the bodice to be tightly fastened without putting a strain on the outer dress fabric or pulling draped folds out of shape. Rather than hand-sewing a dozen or so hooks and eyes individually, consider using hook and eye tape. Also suitable for soft furnishing, such as fitted covers. Silver hooks and eyes at 2.5cm intervals on black or white 25mm tape.
