Description
Peachskin is a soft polyester fabric with a short, fuzzy nap on one side – like the fuzzy skin of a peach. It has a slightly suede-like appearance. You will see the nap, if you brush the right side with your hand but, unlike its, slightly heavier, cousin, ‘moleskin’, the nap is usually too short to worry you when cutting out. Peachskin is a relatively heavy, easy-to-sew, polyester fabric and can be used in a variety of dressmaking applications. Dresses, trousers, jackets, and tunics could all look good in peachskin. 98% polyester, 2% elastane. 150cm wide. Tip: use a Super Stretch HAX 1SP needle.
